28. Juli: Charlottetown, PEI

Afslappende sommersøndag i Charlottetown.

English version:

Relaxing summer Sunday in Charlottetown. Slept in, went for a long walk in the town, visited a couple of churches and an old Victorian mansion.   Charlottetown is a nice town with many pretty old wooden houses. A bit smaller than Silkeborg, but capital of the province and the place where the different parts of presentday Canada met to form the confederation. Had lunch in a sunny yard and then when home and took a nap while doing a load of laundry. In the evening we went to a restaurant with own brewery. Later we went down to the wharf to have their famous Cow ice cream for dessert, but the queue was bigger than our ice cream hunger, so we went for a little walk instead.
